HR Manager/Assistant HR Manager

CGH Industry Sdn Bhd is seeking a HR Manager / Assistant HR Manager to join our plastic injection manufacturing factory in Malaysia. The HR Manager / Assistant HR Manager will play a crucial role in managing various human resources functions, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and handling the responsibilities related to the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) audit process.

Job Scope and Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pool to ensure a steady pipeline of candidates.

2. Employee Relations:

  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts.
  • Promote a positive work culture and foster employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

3. HR Policies and Procedures:

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and enforce company policies consistently.

4. Compliance with Government Authorities:

  • Manage and ensure compliance with labor regulations and requirements set by government authorities such as the Labor Office and Immigration.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and make necessary adjustments to HR processes and policies to comply with new regulations.

5. RBA Audit Management:

  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) audit.
  • Ensure that the factory meets the RBA standards for labor, health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Address and resolve non-compliance issues identified during the audit.

6. Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Supervise the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and address related inquiries.

7. Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs.
  • Assist in the development of employee skills and career growth.

8. Record Keeping and Documentation:

  • Maintain HR records, including employee files, attendance, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure data confidentiality and accuracy.

9. Reporting and Analytics:

  • Generate HR reports for management to make informed decisions.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

10. Budget Management:

  • Assist in the development and management of the HR department budget.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR compliance and audits.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience in managing Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) audits is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive HR information.
  • Prefer Chinese-Need communicate with HQ Team
