Communication Liaison
• Liaise with and proactively influence key stakeholders (internal & external) with relevant technical & commercial information
• Build strong relationships with key growers, stakeholders and channel partners to facilitate the positioning of Syngenta products as the products of choice based on a strong technical position & confidence in use
• Liaise with MY and/or APAC business teams to ensure timely execution of action plans, knowledge transfer and sharing of best practices
• Identify knowledge gaps and develop relevant technical and commercial training to support channel

Responsibilities of Technical Support Specialist but are not limited to:

• Hands-on troubleshooting, restoration and repair of PRISM+ products range with tools in the RMA office.
• Be on-site to conduct diagnosis on PRISM+ product issues and provide technical resolutions for customers in a professional manner as and when required.
• Supporting other departments and partners on product technical issues/guidelines – by proper process of problem identification, investigation and/or troubleshooting to provide the required solution(s).
• Maintaining records of repairs and fixes in the system per Company’s requirement.
• Participating in audit stock count in the warehouse, product certification, retrofit and parts identification activities.
• Coaching and mentoring new hires in terms of product knowledge and technical support skills.

• Diploma in Electronics/Computer Engineering, or any relevant course of studies.
• MUST have at least 3 years’ experience of on-site or in office hands on service/repair of electronic products or appliances role in fields relevant to this position.
• No sustained past or current bodily injuries that would prevent from daily lifting or relocating certain standard consumer appliances within the office or on-site workspace.
• Strong understanding of technical and product global specification standards in PRISM+ product range.
• Able to keep up with the fast pace and sustain productivity goals with minimal supervision.

• Hands-on installation and repair experience of broader range of appliances is an added advantage.

• You are responsible for the centralised payroll and salary administration of all co-workers and manage the year-end income tax activity for all co-workers:
• You are to ensure the accuracy of the payroll related calculations, tax related matter; year-end income tax activity, tax clearance for all foreigners.
• You are to ensure that the payroll practices comply with national legislation and with timely submission of statutory related documents.
• You participate in payroll audit and support the rewards team in external compensation and benefits-related surveys for market benchmarking.
• You will be involved in HR Admin activities, from data management, recruitment, on boarding, benefits administration to off boarding, external HRDF and Social Security Claims and work-pass related matter which includes mobility support for our co-workers in Service Office.
