Job Requirement
Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies to promote 4IR technologies in food security and sustainability initiatives;
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, policymakers, industry partners, NGOs, and academic institutions;
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and policy forums to advocate for sustainable and technology-driven agricultural practices.
Special Project:
- To support the administration, research, technology validation and marketing for 4IR Food Security & Sustainability;
- To support the development of strategic planning and partnerships of relevant projects
Project/Program Support and Implementation:
- Support and led in the planning, organizing, coordinating, and leading research projects and teams;
- Assist in the planning, execution and evaluation of project & programmes;
- Led communication efforts to raise awareness of key advocacy initiatives through social media;
- Support on presentation and speaking notes for representatives in advocacy activities;
- Track and report on the impact of advocacy efforts and make recommendations for continuous improvement;
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in either of the following fields: Business, Marketing, Management, International Relations, Agriculture or a related field;
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in advocacy, public policy or related role with focus on food security, sustainability or technology adoption;
- People-oriented, culture-adaptive, quick learner and thrives on the excitement of a goal-oriented team.
- Proven experience in engaging with government agencies, industry stakeholders and academia.
- Works well under pressure in a challenging and dynamic environment.
