ESTATE MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• • Reporting to Senior Manager.
  • Responsible for overseeing all field operational activities for oil palm and fertigation related horticultural projects.
  • Additionally, you will collaborate with the appropriate supervisors and foremen to make sure that the estate operates as efficiently as possible from planting through harvesting.
  • To monitor day-to-day plantation operations and to identify problem areas and take corrective actions, ensuring operating expenses and profitability are maximized and annual target plantings/harvests are met.
  • To ensure appropriate monitoring systems are put in place for all plantation tending tasks, such as general tractor work, spraying, weeding, trimming, harvesting, and slashing, as well as protection against fire and disease.
  • To liaise with the plantation management team on management of fertigation scheduling and other irrigation duties, regular plantation pest and disease inspections, leaf and soil tests for plant nutrition and appropriate maintenance of plantation plant and equipment.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans.
  • To implement strategies, review and set triggers to ensure KPIs and objectives are met in respective divisions.
  • Build relationship with key stakeholders and also local government and community around the estate.
  • Inspecting the plantations and prepare submission written report after each visit detailing the state and conditions of all aspects of the estate together with necessary recommendation.
  • Plan, organize, implement and control all operations and activities within the Estate according to the practice and guidelines provided by the Company.
  • Provide effective leadership and motivation.
  • To prepare necessary daily/weekly/monthly reports for presentation to Senior Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• • Candidates must possess a Diploma/Degree in Agriculture/Aquaculture/ Horticulture/ Plantations or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in Management position in the Oil Palm Plantation / Cash Crop Industry and development on peat soil land.
  • Possess a high level of independence, integrity, self-motivation.    
  • Good command in English (Written and Spoken)
  • Good health condition. Must be able to work in remote areas.
  • Good sense of business acumen

Role Overview:

As a Senior Customer Success Executive at Karuna, you will play a pivotal role in building and

maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring they derive maximum value from our

technology solutions. You will be responsible for driving customer retention, growth, and advocacy by

developing strategic account plans and engaging with key stakeholders within our customer

organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Building:

Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations,

including executives, decision-makers, and end users, to ensure long-term satisfaction and partnership.

Strategic Account Management:

Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each customer's specific needs and goals, with

an emphasis on driving retention, growth, and advocacy within the tech space.

Onboarding and Training:

Lead the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a seamless transition by providing in-depth

training on our technology products and services, and enabling customers to achieve their desired

outcomes.

Customer Engagement:

Regularly engage with customers to understand their evolving needs, identify opportunities for upselling

or cross-selling additional tech products or services, and address any concerns or challenges they may

face.

Primary Point of Contact:

Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, or escalations, collaborating with

internal technical teams to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

Customer Advocacy: Represent the voice of the customer within our organization, advocating for their

needs and priorities across all departments, and driving initiatives to enhance the overall customer

experience.

Feedback Analysis:

Collect and analyze feedback from customers on their experience with our technology solutions,

identifying trends and areas for improvement, and working with internal teams to drive product

enhancements or process optimizations.

Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze key performance metrics related to customer success, such as customer

satisfaction scores, retention rates, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities, taking proactive measures to

ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Job Requirements:

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT or a related field is required.

Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer success, account

management, or sales within the tech industry, with a strong track record of driving customer satisfaction

and retention.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence, and

collaborate effectively with both customers and internal technical teams.

Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and

solution-oriented approach to addressing customer needs and challenges.

Adaptability:

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic tech environment.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with Customer Success software platforms and tools, as well as a solid understanding of

technology solutions and how they deliver value to customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• • Drive and execute e-commerce operations across multiple online marketplaces including product listing optimization, promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and banner management.
  • Collaborate with Product and Digital Marketing teams to conceptualize and implement compelling marketing campaigns across all e-commerce platforms.
  • Generate and analyze sales performance reports, monitor campaign effectiveness, and propose data-driven improvement strategies.
  • Stay current with e-commerce trends, monitor competitor activities, and leverage industry best practices to enhance online presence.

REQUIREMENTS:

• • Bachelor's degree in E-commerce, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce operations and digital marketing.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent data interpretation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage.
