The Person
A bright and enthusiastic individual seeking to gain insight into the marketing function of an industrial safety and protection company. In this role you will provide valuable administrative and marketing support to a small and very dynamic team and will be comfortable carrying out tasks individually and as a team. There will also be opportunities to carry out specific projects for the right person. A confident communicator, you will be happy to liaise with principals and suppliers and will use your creativity to help with marketing activities. A passion for industrial safety awareness would be a distinct advantage, in addition to passion for learning about business and how to execute marketing plans.
The Job
1. Sourcing and introducing new product into market
a) pricing SOS
b) research and study / analysis in product and market relevancy
2. Generate Sales Lead
a) formulate marketing programs – market penetration and segmentation
b) Strategic planning
3. Advertising and Promotion
a) brand management – strategic management in brand credibility and image establishment.
b) Joint promotion with principles e.g. 3M, Dynabrade
c) other promotions – exhibition and promotion to stimulate sales through salesmen and dealers
4. Research and Information
a) Build and maintain data – market needs and trend
- customers profile e.g. existing customers group by Industry or application
- competitors data
- product information e.g. catalogues to be distributed
5. Budgeting (Sales and Advertising and promotion)
a) product catalogues and brochures for all sales group
b) exhibition – samples to be distributed, door gift, handouts, booth setting etc.
c) promotion expenses
6. Networking
a) distribution network / new dealers channel
b) public relations
7. Training
a) to coordinate or arrange in house training e.g. product training
b) to conduct various training to others
8. Updating Price Pages
a) to maintain & update price pages;
b) to maintain & update prices in system.
9. Digital MarketingÂ
a) Search Engine Optimization
Assist in optimizing online content to improve its visibility in search engine results. This involves keyword research, on-page optimization, and backlink building.
b) Social Media Marketing:
Utilizing social media platforms to connect with the audience, build brand awareness, and promote products or services. It involves creating and sharing content on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. Work on online promotions and social media strategies.

Requirements :-
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Marketing or equivalent;
- Preferably with 2 years relevant experiences in Marketing. However fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply as relevant training will be provided;
- Able to start immediately would be an advantage;
- Enjoys an entrepreneurial, fast-paced work environment;
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal;
- Creativity and ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines;
- Attention to detail.
