About the role

About your Experience
You will have at least 5 year’s experience in an FA&P role,  have worked closely with commercial teams and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. A passion for data analysis and tech is a given.

·       Degree in Business, Finance or Finance Professional qualification.

·       HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) experience required.

·       Experience with PowerBI, will be a plus.

·       Deep understanding of a matrix organization and an ability to manage stakeholders from various functions

·       Good excel skills with experience in building database, reporting, financial models and forecast.

About the role
This a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced Accountant to join our high performing team. The role is responsible for handling day to day operations of the Finance Dept , monthly closing and reporting and assisting the Finance Manager in financial planning , annual audit and tax submission.  Liaison between customers , vendors , auditors, tax agents, bankers and other team members is a key part of the role.

 In this position you will responsible for :

• Timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to the Finance Manager

• Accounting processes and tasks

• Liaison with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required as well as internal teams

• Compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/CIT/…), audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal

• Assisting in new processes and system implementation when required.

• Coordinating internal and external audits, ensuring accurate and timely provision of required financial information.

 About your Experience
You will have at least 5 year’s experience in a financial accounting role, with excellent communications skills and an ability to interact with all levels of management.

About the role:

The Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for providing assistance to the sales team in identifying clients’ needs, proposing and demonstrating the financial solutions for insurance companies (Enterprise Accounting System) and works in conjunction with the Sales Executives to pursue high value software and services sales and business development opportunities within FIS’s current and prospective client base to achieve or exceed yearly sales goals, increase market share and maximize profits.

The Pre-Sales Consultant works closely with FIS’s sales executives, partners plus Product Development and Global/APAC Services to help identify, develop, and deliver sales of the insurance solutions. He also can be working as a team with the regional Sales and Pre-Sales for the same objective. He/she is responsible for developing and managing the clients technical and end user relationships and assisting sales executives in selling the strategic vision at c-level to board level as required.

What you will be doing

• Through direct communication with prospective clients, work with the Sales Executives to gain a thorough understanding of their business needs, system needs, various requirements.

• Conduct Proof of Concept via developing some sample portals, interfaces, workflows, rules, etc. to demonstrate the capability of the entire solution

• He/she will be assuming the role of trainer for internal staff who is supporting the insurance business locally. 

What you bring

• Strong experience in Insurance domain specially Life Insurance. Experience in GI, Reinsurance or Takaful will be an advantage

• Hands on experience of working on Finance Transformation projects for Insurers including but not limited to IFRS 17, Process Automation and Transformation, Reporting automation.

• In depth understanding of financial software application landscape.

• In depth understanding of IT landscape for an Insurer.

• In depth knowledge of policy life cycle management and different downstream systems that rely on the data from the source Policy Admin system

• Knowledge of the insurance eco-system is a distinct advantage.

Upstream

• Provide analytical insights and support to Head of poultry farms and farm managers in managing farm KPIs as below:

1. Breeder & Hatchery – Productivity (DOC per HH), PS Mortality, Hatchability, DOC CV, DOC Quality, PS Weight Management, Biosecurity, Overheads and Fixed Operating Expenses.
2. Broiler – Performance Index, 7th days body weight, Feed Cost per kg of broiler meat, FCR, Mortality, Cycle time, Non-conformance factors (CV, bruises, broken or red wing tip, ammonia burnt, etc), Productivity (kg per square meter), Biosecurity, Overheads and Fixed Operating Expenses.

• Provide analysis for DOC and Broiler supply planning & scheduling, logistic and harvesting to ensure plant broiler requirement in term of quantity, body weight, timing and sequence are fulfilled within the allowed tolerance range.
• Provide support to CF and OMBB in terms of the onboarding process which include verifying the creation of account form, OF/OMBB contract terms and ensure end cycle payment are processed in accurate and timely manner. To ensure Contract Terms are adjusted timely to reflect changes in raw materials price and feed formulation cost.
• Provide analytical support and collaborate with farm, harvester, logistics and downstream stakeholders to improve non-conformance costs such as broilers’ DOA (dead on arrival), weight loss, bruises, broken wings and other injuries, etc.
• Provide analysis to breeder, hatchery and broiler farm management to optimise VOHs (variable overheads) which includes staff, medications (vaccine, antibiotic), pesticide, disinfectant, repair & maintenance, electricity, water and etc.
• Check to ensure farm internal controls are adhered (eg, purchasing SOP, cash sales, live bird invoicing and CN, repair and maintenance works, petty cash claims and etc)
• Check to ensure operational data capturing are timely and accurate (eg. cycle end, invoicing, consumables/medications usage, etc)
• Perform financial feasibility analysis for new capex (new equipment, broiler and breeder farm, etc) and projects & ensure it is appropriately enforced by the HBUs to comply with expected performance outcome as outlined in the feasibility study, otherwise to highlight to HBU on the need to implement the necessary action plans to ensure conformance.
• Support the annual budgeting and monthly revised forecast (LE - latest estimates) process.
• Work closely with leadership team on strategic, tactical and operational matters as and when required.
• Upon better visibility on Supply Chain solution, will incorporate the necessary additional analysis of variance and root cause analysis with action plans to reduce the gap and improve performance and bottom line.
• Perform any other task and assignments as directed by the Management from time to time.

Downstream

• Establish a reliable tracking process for plant’s critical KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness by production lines), Production Yields (by production lines and product categories such giblets, CUP, deboned etc), Manpower Productivity (by lines) and Plant’s Key Variable and Fixed Overheads. Provide analytic support and collaborate with plant stakeholders to drive improvement on those critical KPIs.
• Provide analytical support and collaborate with plant and upstream stakeholders to improve broiler supply bird size accuracy (average body weight, ABW), uniformity (CV) and volume. This in turn will improve plant KPIs such as OEE, order fulfilments, variable overheads, etc.
• Ensure product costings are updated in a timely manner arising from changes in production processes, new equipment, cost components (eg. Manpower, raw materials, etc), new product development, etc.
• Perform financial feasibility analysis for new capex (new equipment, additional production lines, etc), NPD (new product development) and projects.
• Drive efficiency and effectiveness in business processes through reengineering, streamlining, automation and enhancing the internal controls.
• To perform any other task and assignments as directed by the Management from time to time.

• To acquire new dealers (including but not limited to Dealer Financing product) through established partnership nationwide or any other sales channels

The primary objective of this role is to support the respective market Financial Controllers to ensure all entities within APAC markets are compliant from a statutory, tax and reporting perspective withinand managing external audit and tax relationships.

You must sustain a strong relationship with the Senior Leadership Stakeholders, Finance community and other parts of the Regional and Global business

• Deliver accurate financial reporting while maintaining compliance to accounting policies
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and tax filings and reporting deadlines for all entities and countries within the markets the STAR supports
• Ensure efficient completion of external statutory audits, tax filings, and submission to authorities within deadlines.
• Apply and provide recommendations to mitigate risks to support financial targets
• Explain and execute the accounting standards, delegated authority matrix, and Experian policies and assess control risk as necessary
• Identify process standardisation and optimisation of reporting opportunities and deliver ways to simplify the finance processes to create informative, value-adding outputs
• Work seamlessly with colleagues within or across functions and markets, supporting each other to meet business requirements
• Respond to ad-hoc requests in a timely and professional manner
